My Journey from Sketchpad to Pencil Pro

I’ve always been a creator, though my tools have changed significantly over the decades. I started in the early 2000s with traditional mediums, but by 2010, the digital world called to me. What began as a fascination with custom horse photo manipulations eventually evolved into a deep dive into the author space, where I spent years blending photography and digital painting to bring book covers to life.

Today, you’ll find me working from my home in the Great Smoky Mountains, specializing in digital pixel art. My work spans from whimsical chibis to full-scale digital illustrations. After years of experimentation—including a heavy focus on RPG commissions and the author community—I finally "found" my definitive style in late 2025. It’s a look that’s distinctive, intentional, and entirely my own.

When I’m not refining pixels, I’m likely submerged in a book or tending to my chaotic, wonderful crew of "kids"—which includes a husband, human children, and a literal zoo of bunnies, turtles, puppies, and fish.

The average art piece takes me between 20-40 hours to perfect, so my pricing reflects this!
